Oh Dianna, I’m not perfect by far,

However, I think you’re a shining star

Because I’ve told you about my old days

When I used to drink in a smoke filled haze.

I’ve now reformed and changed my mad old ways

And I feel so much happier these days

Since I’ve met you, love and light of my life

And someday I hope to make you my wife.

Perhaps we’ll have many mountains to climb,

But if we work things out and take our Time

When you fly over here to Aberdeen

We could make a detour to Gretna Green

And if you accept my engagement ring
